When you sign up for Patona, we collect:

- User account credentials (hashed passwords)
3.2 WhatsApp Business Account Data
When you connect a WhatsApp Business Account through Patona:
- WhatsApp Business Account ID (WABA ID)
- Phone number ID
- Business verification status
- Meta Business Manager association
3.3 Message Metadata
We process metadata related to messages sent and received through Patona:
- Sender and recipient phone numbers
- Message timestamps
- Delivery and read status
- Message type (text, image, document, etc.)
Important: We do NOT store message content by default unless explicitly enabled by the business for features such as automation, analytics, or compliance logging. When stored, message content is encrypted at rest.

4. How We Use Your Data
We use the data collected to:
- Provide Patona services: Operate the platform, process messages, manage conversations, and enable AI automation.

When you connect a WhatsApp Business Account through Patona, the following data is shared with Meta:

- WhatsApp Business Account credentials

Meta processes WhatsApp message data in accordance with:
Patona does NOT have access to end-to-end encrypted message content between end users and businesses unless explicitly authorized by the business account owner.

We do NOT sell your data.

Third-party vendors who help us operate Patona (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
